If actions speak louder than words then the most powerful nations have been leaping back to the ‘good old days of slavery’.

As the World plunges into an acute state of chaos we should all be prepared for worse to come where Truth is contradicted and evil and wickedness of the ‘Good Old Days’ are promoted as being normal. Mueller’s Report joins the company of other dubious decisions that would have us suffer in silence and be trampled into dust with our Children placed in Chains, Prisons and Graveyards.

Even in the presence of public proof, we see justice openly denied and the wealth of the world unevenly distributed as major governments become increasingly unstable and authorities to whom we look for guidance and leadership are proving to be less and less trustworthy

It is mindboggling how we are called on to doubt our own eyes and be easily led deeper into the darkness.

Meanwhile, the world is in such a state of flux that the changes are so frequent and fast, Encyclopedias are no longer infallible sources of knowledge and books outgrow their relevancy even before they are published. Even Radio and Internet have difficulty keeping pace but they are still the best medium at this time and the ones we must use in order to reach you.

Sometimes the Children must fend for themselves:

Now more than ever, we must look, listen, reason and learn to find the answers for, in the end it is left to us to accept or reject the suspicious findings of others

A ‘No Collusion’ Mueller’s Report would join the ranks of unreasonable expectations required to cover obvious wrongs like, the perpetuation of a system where human supremacy is based on the colour of skin.

Sadly, we are trained to be silent, humble, meek and mild; willing to accept without question the empty promise of inheriting the Earth as we live in a fool’s dream of constant lies where they call us fools for rejecting their folly. No one seems to know or care how many generations of innocent blacks must be killed by the police before the system is recognized as being racist.

We smile empty smiles as their myths slaughter fairness and justice and shackle us to the folly that our bountiful rewards will come after we no longer exist.

This was the same trick used to extort our riches and lands for their trinkets and promises of imaginary friends. Too many parents are still conditioned to accept their ‘Freedom of Movement’ as one-way streets ruled by ‘No Entry Signs.’

When parents are in trouble the children are in trouble and we still regard the UK our Mother Country—Brexit is their present day catastrophe and while the term may mean British Exit from the European Union, the phrase seems more like saying somebody ‘Breaks it’ and when the splinters fly we in the VI need the facts and history in order to prevent us from repeating the same mistakes.

This has happened to us before:

Brexit appears founded on Nationalism –which is just a fancy word for racism—by a Nation that gained its wealth from the invasion of others and is now fixated on ensuring that no one from these exploited Commonwealth Countries is able to follow or benefit from the plunder that once belonged to them. Simply put, the wealth in Commonwealth is not as common as you would like to believe. 

Fact is, as descendants of slaves we have had to struggle against all odds; not only were our forefathers snatched from the wealth of their homeland but, while Denmark, the UK and America compensated their slave owners after Emancipation, the slaves received nothing.

Furthermore, the one step towards Compensation or Reparation – that is; Affirmative Action – was halted. Today, some African-Americans console themselves by claiming, Freed American Slaves received “40 acres and a mule” and while such a promise was made it was rescinded.

In, 1865, after the Civil War, President Lincoln approved a law that made a portion of land available to a specific set of Freed Slaves but after Lincoln’s death, President Jackson took back that Land and gave it to others.

This means that, Freed Slaves of Tortola were better off than their American Brethren for they were actually given land in the Long Look, Nottingham Estate.

This along with the will to survive made BV-Islanders a special People with the tenacity to make something out of nothing. We should never allow Mueller’s Report and bad leadership to destroy hope and erode this magnificent quality.

We are too small to lose our Lands without Reciprocity:

However, we must face the reality that statistics show, Indigenous BV-Islanders outnumbered by three to one with their Children deprived and disenfranchised.

This worsens under the threat of recent rumours that claim past and present Government have committed themselves to granting political Belongerships and Naturalizations to Non-Locals without public knowledge.

If we consider that our physical size is less than that of some towns in most countries, we would realize such a move would create an emergency. Such a condition would legalize the imposition of additional hardships that would be detrimental and genocidal to indigenous BVI-Islanders.

It is therefore suicidal for us to delay or silence our concerns for the grave damage this is likely to cause.

NB: - It is no secret that no one has fought harder than I for the privileges of Non-belongers while at the same time no one has fought harder than I for the Rights of BV-Islanders.

This gives me the justification and credence to protest any policy or action that would diminish the rights of BV-Islanders and effectively give others an unfair advantage over locals in their country. This is not to join the world in its madness but to prevent it by cautioning our Leaders against any such “Free for all Immigrant Policy”

Furthermore, before any considerations of granting VI Citizenship to others, Government should establish a firm ‘Policy of Reciprocity’ whereby, whatever we do for the citizens of other countries must also be done for BV-Islanders by these Countries.
