The world renowned resort on Anegada will have on stage world renowned pop artist and song writer, Levi John aka ‘Mr Silky Voice’.

Alternative

The show, which is expected to attract persons from Tortola, Virgin Gorda and the US Virgin Islands (USVI) who may be looking for an alternative to the usual Old Year’s show on Jost van Dyke, is themed ‘Islandjon Vodka Black and Gold NYE party’.

Levi John, who was born in Grenada and now resides in Florida, USA, has been making major waves around the world with his music.

It is said Levi cherishes the intimate settings where it feels like his “silky voice” is singing every song just for you, but that doesn’t take away his passion for the large stage.

John performs as a single artist, with a pianist, a small combo, a big band, or a full orchestra and is an explosive performer who desires of putting smiles on the faces of the whole world.

VI Groove Project

Opening the night’s entertainment will be VI Groove Project, a popular local band making quite an impression in the Territory.

According to organisers, it is forecast to be a clam sea ride to the island and a special ferry is being organised to transport persons from Tortola to Anegada and return.

Several Anegada residents said they welcome the event as since there is usually nothing much to entertain the guests on the island on New Year’s eve they tend to go to Tortola and Jost van Dyke.

Meanwhile, the Anegada Beach Club was recently praised for gifting a $12,500 luxury vacation package to the Miss World BVI organisation as an auction item for the charity event at the recent Miss World in London.

This allowed the Virgin Islands representative, Miss World BVI Rikkiya A.R. Brathwaite- who made history by becoming the first contestant from the VI to advance to the Top 40- to raise the most money for charity at the Beauty With A Purpose Auction gala.
