Movine F. Fahie allegedly forced to live in farm hut
This picture was painted by Attorney at Law Mrs Valerie Stephens-Gordon as she stood in representation of Ms Fahie. The local farmer is before the court on a joint charge of common assault with one Bianca Shulterbrandt who continues to skip proceedings.
Last Friday September 16, 2016 Senior Magistrate Tamia N. Richards disclosed in court that Shulterbrandt’s employer submitted a letter to the court stating that there was some sort of audit in process at her place of employment and she was needed to be present and as such could not make it to court. That, however, was not the first time the woman failed to show up on her court date.
More often than not persons having matter/s before any court of law are required to give priority to attending court unless in the case of sickness or other very serious reasons.
The prosecution was not satisfied with the written excuse and requested of the court to issue a bench warrant for Shulterbrandt.
Forced to live in hut
It was at that stage Mrs Stephens-Gordon requested to say something on behalf of her client and disclosed that Ms Fahie is forced to endure discomfort at this time. She alluded to the fact that Ms Fahie has a comfortable home and bed but is unable to enjoy them as her neighbours continue to make her uncomfortable by stoning her home, dumping garbage and left over food into her yard, making unbearable noise late at nights and the list goes on.
Because of this, Mrs Stephens-Gordon stated, Ms Fahie has had to resort to sleeping/living in a hut on her farm at Paraquita Bay.
According to the lawyer, several times her client would call the police to insist that she be given some peace but the police allegedly fail to show up.
Magistrate Richards said as it relates to Ms Shulterbrandt, “I hope they (police) pick her up and give her a ride here.”

People that went to Santo Domingo to work back in those days were not there thieving and and being trouble makers!
Our ancestors went there and work hard, respected the laws of the land and then came back to Tortola to their families!
So get your story right!
she is to blasted miserable and disagreeable. Likes too much confusion
No respect for Law and order because Law and order dont have any for itself. I have seen the courts reject doctor papers but cant reject a paper saying that a junior officer is needed for an audit. Money more important than life BVI going down fast.
So whats the problem?
MS. FAHIE HAVE GRAND CHILDREN LIVING BY SHE SO WHY SHE HAVE TO BLAME OTHER CHILDREN ABOUT GARBAGE AND NOISE AS FAR AS I KNOW THEIR ARE MANY CHILDREN LIVING UP THERE SO NEED TO GET HER THING STRAIGHT WHEN THE REAL TRUE COME OUT I HOPE NO ONE HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.
