Motor scooter rider collides with pickup truck in RT

- Reportedly suffered leg injuries

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A motor scooter rider was rushed to Peebles Hospital after colliding with a pickup truck in the vicinity of the Road Town Ferry Dock last evening, Wednesday April 10, 2019.

According to information from our Team of Reporters, the incident occurred shortly after 10:00pm.

Virgin Islands News Online was also told the motorcyclist, a male, appeared to have suffered leg injuries.

He was reportedly whisked away to Peebles Hospital in a conscious state.

      Who said the truck wasn’t the one in the wrong? Bikes are not always the problem, drivers also need to be aware! Just how we have bike accidents we have car accidents, should we stop cars from coming in too?

      @ Mr Premier: is it the bikes or the person riding that bike but you have very valid concern: there are people riding bikes in the territory and they exercise due care and attention while others act the fool in and out of traffic: I dont see why the law abiding folks should suffer for those who simply refuse to comply with our regulations:
      Maybe an increase of highway patrols

    Fuzzy logic. When only one type of rider is allowed to ride here on one type of motorcycle the answer is simple, we will get the same result. Every time.
