FREEBOTTOM, Tortola, VI – A woman and her child received minor injuries following an accident in Freebottom today June 28, 2015.

While it is not clear how the accident occurred, a sport utility vehicle (SUV) ended up on its side resulting to injuries to its occupants – a woman and her infant son.

Speaking to this news site, Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean said that by the time his officers arrived on the scene, the occupants of the vehicle had already been taken from the crashed vehicle and rushed to Peebles Hospital.

Efforts to reach our source at the hospital for more information on the condition of the accident victims proved futile. Police had not responded up to post time to our inquiries about the accident.

I hope that you people of these islands who insist on putting negative words into the atmosphere know what you are doing. The Government that WE the people elected are there to serve and it is our duty to encourage and bless them not curse them. Negative words are going out into the atmosphere with the names of our elected officials attached to them and we expect things to happen differently. A wise head keeps a still tongue.

@ Concerned: could not have been better said. The Bible tells us that there is power in the tongue, so my advice to this poster is: "Think twice before you post such words...you don't want the evil one to unleash his tirade on you". We all want to be Blessed!
