Asked whether she heard anything further from St Thomas, she said, “Well nobody didn't contact me as yet. No Police Officer here ain't come to me, or from down there (St Thomas),” she said.

“I am just waiting on a document to come back [from St Thomas] so that I can go back down,” she said. “I will be calling them [St Thomas] today to find out if the results came back and then I will let you know.”

According to the woman, everybody is offering her condolences but she is yet to receive final confirmation that her son is dead.

“I am waiting on [confirmation]. Everybody telling me condolences but I am waiting on the test results could come back and for St Thomas to call me to come down. But I will call them today.”

Todman, as well as an aunt of the young man, had spoken out against the treatment they received at the hands of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) when they went there first to report the young man missing and then to inquire about arrangements for getting his body from St Thomas, USVI to Tortola after learning of his possible demise at sea.

This news site has reported that Lloyd died possibly by drowning following an incident around February 14, 2016 when the United States Coast Guard carried out an operation aimed at combatting the smuggling of illegal aliens into the USVI.

However, Information and Press Officer of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is still to get back to this news site on the allegations by the family of Lloyd regarding the treatment they received at the hands of the Police here.

Condolences to the family. Takes time for these forensic tests and perhaps the specimens have to be a airlifted to elsewhere for testing. You never know so hope that Clyde surfaces alive and well with a new perspective.

I did not know this child was missing! I am floored right now. I taught him. He always struggled for acceptance, but he was not how he is being portrayed by these comments. Sometimes good people get caught up.

Probably that boy pushed him off. They US coat guard knew there was another person on the boat and they didnt look for him or anything. Ashemba could have told them someone else was on the boat. He know it had no where else to swim to and he going stay quiet? hmmmm.... I don't think that boy jump off the boat. None of yall was there so stop assuming. stupid people! why ayo have to be so small minded for such a small place? and then complaining about how corrupt it is when yall ain making it no better

You are commenting on others making assumptions when you yourself are making assumptions and false accusations. Were you there to NOT see the coast guard look for him? Were you there to NOT see him jump but Ashemba push him off? You were NOT there so stop trying to insinuate things that are not true. All you are doing is making yourself seem very foolish.

Why would Ashemba push him off and not the illegal individuals? Does that make sense to you?
