More Publicity for the BVI and the Loro Piana Caribbean Super Yacht Regatta & Rendezvous

Yacht Club Costa Smeralda Virgin Gorda, home of the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Loro Piana Caribbean Super Yacht Regatta & Rendezvous continues to generate much needed international publicity for the British Virgin Islands, this time among luxury yacht owners in the all important North American market.

The destination is receiving this timely and well placed exposure in the May edition of Show Boats International North America’s premier luxury yacht publication. The well written 12 page spread is filled with stunning photography of the destination and the regatta and is well placed to help promote the regatta and the BVI to a discerning and affluent readership.

This is the second international publication to feature the BVI and the Loro Piana Caribbean Super Yacht Regatta & Rendezvous this month. Boat International Magazine, the number one magazine in the international super yacht space with distribution in 57 countries, also did a 12 page spread in their May issue with spectacular images of the Super Yacht fleet racing the clear waters around Virgin Gorda’s North Sound. The article also included poster quality photos of the newest luxury resort and super yacht club at Oil Nut Bay and YCCS on Virgin Gorda.

“This high quality editorial coverage is timely and it is invaluable publicity for the BVI as it accentuates the territory as a top tier destination enhancing our awareness within this key market segment” said David V. Johnson, Chairman of Victor International Corporation and visionary behind the Oil Nut Bay development and the YCCS Marina. “This level of publicity and media attention in our primary market is critical to building the stature of the regatta while also helping to reinforce the British Virgin Islands’ image as an attractive destination globally.”

With a 30 year history of integrity and a vigorous respect for environmentally sound principals, BVI and USA based Victor International Corporation is a leading community developer, founded by David V. Johnson. Victor has created more than 40 developments throughout its history, including, in the U.S., the Urban Land Institute’s Award of Excellence winner, Bay Harbor, Michigan, a 1,200 acre luxury resort community extending along five miles of Lake Michigan, and also Turtle Lake, a premier residential community in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In the Caribbean, Victor BVI is the developer of Oil Nut Bay (www.oilnutbay.com) and YCCS Marina & Yacht Club, also operates Biras Creek Resort (www.biras.com), top luxury destinations in the Caribbean and world.
