The network, powered by 4G Wimax technology, was the first of its kind in the VI. CCTmax offered more people the choice of a wireless broadband service with instant connection, zero installation fees and no need for a fixed line.

In the three years since its launch, CCTmax has grown in popularity, expanding its reach throughout the Territory. A milestone expansion happened in March 2010, with new site locations at Fort Recovery, Apple Bay, Soldier Hill, Luck Hill, Windy Hill, Belmont, Frenchman's Cay, Smugglers Cove, Spanish Town and parts of Carrot Bay, Cane Garden Bay, Fresh Water Pond and Apple Bay.

In addition to increased coverage, CCT has also added new plan options to its CCTmax broadband internet family. Retail customers now had the choice of three plans with download speeds ranging from 1.5 Mbps to 4 Mbps.

The new reduced rates make the service an affordable internet option for any budget with packages available from only $59 per month for unlimited use.
