Miss Teen VG sets sight on Miss Teen BVI, Miss BVI!

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI – She always dreamt of entering a pageant and not only did Miss Tanieka Gludd got that opportunity recently but also came out Miss Teen Virgin Gorda.

Now proudly wearing the crown, the dream still continues for Miss Gludd as she recently told Virgin Islands News Online that she has intentions of entering the Miss Teen BVI Pageant and to also one day vie for the Miss BVI crown.

The 4th Form Student of the Bregado Flax Educational Centre in the meantime intends to enjoy her reign and learn as much as possible as she prepares to take to a bigger stage in the not so distant future.

Miss Gludd, who said her favourite subjects are English Literature and Mathematics, has so far made two public appearances - the opening of the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival where she had the honour of declaring open the Leon ‘Kinny’ Creque Festiville on Saturday April 7, 2012; and was also a part of the Virgin Gorda Easter Parade yesterday April 9, 2012.

In front of a packed crowd on March 31, 2012, at the Catholic Community Centre ,contestant #2 Tanieka Gludd won Best Introduction, Best Career Wear, Best Platform, Best Talent and Miss Intellect en route to taking the crown.

Contestant #1, Tecora Morgan won Miss Poise, Miss Popularity and Miss Photogenic and Contestant #3, J’sonnia Winter won Best Evening wear.
