Miss Caribbean World - Meet with British Virgin Islands

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Contestant # 3, Miss British Virgin Islands Abigail F. Hyndman who will be competing in the upcoming Miss Caribbean World Pageant slated to be held here in Tortola, Virgin Islands at the Multipurpose Sports Complex on May 5, 2012.

Activities: Miss BVI is an Advocate with the Family Support Network Against Domestic Violence, Advocate for the Building of a Domestic Violence Shelter in the British Virgin Islands, Member of the Caribbean Student Association at Xavier University, Member of the Howard Hughes Biomedical Honor Corp at Xavier University of Louisiana, Volunteer of the Smile Beautification effort in the City of New Orleans, Member of the National Honor Society- Amalian Chapter.

Her hobbies include Reading, Listening to Music, Traveling, Modeling, Exercising, and spending quality time with my family. One of her pet peeve is when individuals express themselves by using profanity. She loves and appreciates honesty and she admires the person who has the strength to be honest. She intends to become a Board Certified Anesthesiologist

Her ambition forwards derives from her appreciation for the world of medicine. Medicine is ever changing and ever growing. Her hope is to obtain a career in anesthesiology, contribute to the field and become a Professor of Medicine. Her desire is to shape the minds of our future doctors.

The person that she would like to meet is Eva Peron,throughout the centuries women have had to overcome the struggles of inequality and sexism. One woman who has done so is Eva Peron; a woman from humble beginnings who rose to becoming Argentina’s first lady.
