Memorial Birthday Party for coach Xavier 'Dag' Samuels today

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Respect continues to be paid to fallen track and field coach, Xavier 'Dag' Samuels.

Mr Samuels died on September 6, 2017 following injuries suffered at his home in Huntums Ghut following the passage of Hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017.

According to information reaching this news site, the Fast Lane Track Club, in collaboration with the Samuels Family will have a memorial birthday party, for the late coach at the A.O. Shirley Ground this afternoon, November 3, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Mr Samuels would have been celebrating his 56th birthday today.

"Finger foods will be served and as Dag would have it, Bob Marley will be on the sound system," this news site was told.

Persons are being asked to walk with "soft drinks."

Coach Samuels was laid to rest on October 21, 2017.
