Medical worker allegedly ingests suspected tainted soda in shared apartment
Police are said to be investigating the alleged incident that occurred yesterday, Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
Reports reaching our newsroom indicate that the woman had drank some leftover ginger ale she placed in a refrigerator the day before when she realised that it smelled and tasted “strange”.
According to a source close to the individual, the woman had poured some of the soda in a cup before drinking.
The woman, according to reports, allegedly felt a burning sensation after ingesting the soda and subsequently rushed herself to the hospital.
A report was subsequently made to the police.
Neighbors recalled seeing officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) at the apartment conducting investigations.
The woman is said to be “ok” but is bent on finding out if someone deliberately poured the harmful substance in her soda.
It is unclear at this time what exactly was the substance in the soda; however, there are unconfirmed reports it was detergent.

Add: an even sleep with you in your bossom in the same bed.
But we should not be alarmed. Judas did it to perfect innocent Jesus too.
If the person that she shares the house with did this, that is some dirty low down S**t. Girllll, when you get better, run. Who knows what else of yours your roomie tampered with. My old roomie was using my toothbrush to clean the toilet and then putting it back like nothing. How I know, one of her friends told me she was laughing and talking about it.
Take note, the writer of this article (or the person who interviewed the medical worker), used the words; "reportedly, alleged, is said and unconfirmed.” This is inferring that there isn’t any solid evidence or proof that what she reported are facts or is accurate.
Also, the article stated “a source close to the individual.” Was this person also at the apartment? Was this person a witness? How are we sure of all the events that transpired or occurred?
In my opinion, one should not jump to any conclusions until all facts are presented. As a medical worker, she should know better than to be drinking soda anyway. You can never go wrong with water.
At least VINO posted their disclaimer above the article stating that what’s posted here does not represent their views and opinions. Anyone can say anything, simply put.
