Man who shot Dakeme Cheltenham still at large

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– The shooter in the incident near UP’s Cineplex on October 29, 2016 that resulted in a young man receiving injuries is still at large.

Police, however, said they have questioned a young man concerning the incident and are still appealing to the public for assistance.

Dakeme Cheltenham of Belle Vue, Tortola reportedly received multiple gunshot wounds in the incident that took place sometime before 5:00 A.M. on the day in question, a story first and accurately reported by Virgin Islands News Online.

“Members of the Special Investigation Team, is being assisted by a 22 year old Tortola male, who was arrested on November 3, 2016 and has since been released,” a press release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force last evening, November 4, 2016 stated.

It said the team executed a number of search warrants and continues to actively piece together CCTV footage from the local area in order to identify both offenders and witnesses to the incident.

Persons who attended the venue and any persons who have information in relation to the incident are asked to phone Road Town Police Station at 311 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 8477.

    Vino. U need to investigate more and find out if the Sky Cam cameras we spent so much money on. If they are working and also ask for an illustration, so u can verify.. Not only if they are worth but there Clarity..
