Man trapped in crashed bus @ Haver's

HAVER'S ESTATE, Tortola, VI- Officers of the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services are currently trying to cut a man out of a crashed minibus at Haver's Estate, in the West End of Tortola.

The circumstances surrounding the accident which occurred at around 10:30pm, May 29, 2015 is unclear, however, the bus reportedly hit two utility poles. 

The driver, who apparantly was the lone occupant of the bus, is trapped on the passenger side, with the steering wheel having shifted with him and pinning him in the process. 

He remains conscious but groaning in pain as attempts are being made to free him. 

More than 45 minutes after, an ambulance is yet to arrive on the scene.

    45 minutes Ambulance hasn`t arrive as yet--When did they arrive? The Whole Culture of the Hospital need changing--starting with the minister-- the board--managers--supervisors--we need a new caring,--empathetic and professional culture in health------Hope the driver is ok

    Wht the people don't stop and think on what to say if them don't know what to say 45 mins for an Ambulance was the Ambulance sitting there waiting for this accident to happen or was it out on a call. But if some of these people would help is find the man that run in the back of the ambulance and run off now having it off the road we will galdly like that to have it repaired so u can have a better service
