PETER ISLAND, VI- A man reportedly suffered severe cuts to his legs after falling off a party boat at Peter Island sometime after 5:00pm today, June 16, 2019.

The party boat was one of several that made the trip to Norman Island today.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the vessel had made a brief stop at Willy-T's off Peter Island when the incident occurred. It is unclear how the man ended up falling in the water but the boat was reportedly reversing when the man received injuries by the propeller.

Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) were reportedly called in and the injured man was transported by boat to Peebles Hospital.

More details to follow.
