Man arrested for aggravated burglary, kidnapping & attempted murder

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Police arrested a man on suspicion of aggravated burglary with possible charges of kidnapping and attempted murder pending for forcibly removing a woman from her home and running a vehicle over her.

The female victim, who was found on the side of the road in Cox Heath around 2 A.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 with visible injuries, stated that she was asleep in her home in Sea Cows Bay when a male entered, placed an object to her throat and demanded money. Her assailant then proceeded to tie her hands and cover her face with a cloth, and remove her from the premises in her vehicle.

While being transported, she explained that she untied herself and got out of the moving vehicle. Her attacker then tried to run over her injuring her legs in the process. A motorist passing at the time tried to render assistance, but he was also threatened by the assailant.

The victim is currently receiving medical treatment for her injuries.

      why you all like to make everything about politics?? tell me what the VIP/NDP or any other political party could do to avoid someone conducting acts like this? Lets hope when you get kidnap what ever political party you support helps you get out of the situation.

    a woman was kidnapped and almost die and all u cud think about is vip and ndp what does that have to with this come on u must be a little girl for true anyways am so sorry for that woman and i hope she gets well soon..........
