ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- “For the students that come that day I am personally going to teach them how to really turn their gift, whether it’s a talent, an art, whether it’s an ability to speak, to write, whether it’s a business, how to turn that passion into profit, how to turn a breakdown into a break through.”

Sounds incredible indeed but such is what an upcoming conference promises and those are the words of one of the speakers and famed New York Times Best Selling Author and entrepreneur extraordinaire, Lisa Nichols.

The conference entitled Power Your Breakthrough and Thrive in 2012 is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, 2012 in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands.

Other speakers would include Meade W. Malone, who for more than 17 years has helped multinational corporations and wealthy individuals manage their international corporate structures. Meade is also the Author of The Plan and Unbreakable Spirit; and Allison Byrd, who is a well renowned transformational coach and business consultant.

Nichols, speaking via teleconference during a press conference at the MWM/Abacus Trust, Geneva Place yesterday February 10, 2012 said most people regard the current economic climate as the hardest it has ever been but she believes it is also the greatest opportunity we have ever had but it is about the individual’s mental framework and what he or she believes is possible.

“I know that for the individuals that come that personally and professionally we are really speaking about what is required to really transform and thrive in 2012 and that is more than just being motivated. It is more than just being inspired. It’s having some skill sets and some tools just as people, as individuals, as people of colour, as from people of diverse backgrounds, as people from family traditions, what does it take to break through the ceiling? What does it take to go from where we are to where we want to be?” Nichols said.

The Co-Author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Teacher of The Secret and Author of No Matter What! And Unbreakable Spirit added that she is coming to create some breakthroughs and to inspire people to “really play bigger than you have ever played before” and also to teach some very clear, concrete skill sets on how to take an idea and turn it into a thriving business.

“My life was changed by going to the right conference, the right workshop. I grew myself, I grew my business and my life going to conferences and going to workshops like this and learning from people like Meade Malone and Allison Byrd,” Nichols said.

According to Mr. Malone, the conference will cater for only 350 persons and so is encouraging persons to register early. There will also be a fee attached. He also disclosed that transportation would be organised to take persons from Tortola to St. Thomas for the conference and return.

Meanwhile, Colonial Insurance and BVI Tourist Board are two of the sponsors on board so far.

Persons wishing more information about the conference could visit the website www.meademalone.com as well as Facebook and Twitter.
