Male rider injured in scooter accident on VG

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- A male motor scooter rider had to be transported to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital on Tortola following injuries sustained in an accident on Virgin Gorda yesterday, September 15, 2020.

It is unclear what were the circumstances surrounding the accident or whether another vehicle was involved.

The accident was confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

“I can confirm a report of an accident on Millionaire Road, Virgin Gorda on September 15, 2020, at approximately 1:37 pm,” Police Information Officer, Ms Akia L. Thomas told our newsroom today, September 16, 2020.

“One male was injured and transported to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing,” Ms Thomas added.

    He always up and down VG after hour’s before curfew etc without a t-shirt on. Rock stones difficult to teach.

    In Bermuda it's prohibited for locals and residents to ride scooters, only tourists can rent and ride scooters there. So with the next governor becoming there such a legislation can be impose here too. Watch out ppl.
