ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – All customers of Digicel BVI came in for showers of praise as Lincoln Saul collected his $1,000 cheque this morning November 17, 2014 from a team of officers of the mobile telecommunication company.

“I must thank all the customers for making this happen for me… without the customers Digicel would not have been able to do this and thank you Digicel,” said Mr Saul.

The Digicel team turned up with the surprise earlier today at Mr Saul’s place of work, the Cruise Prier Project site, and he said he was of the opinion that someone was coming to check his phone service but much to his surprise it was a fat cheque for $1,000.

Digicel’s Marketing Public Relations Executive, Digicel (BVI) Limited Jasmine A. Perez said that Mr Saul’s name was pulled this morning as he would have done some legitimate qualifying transactions over the past weekend.

She said that starting today, every day a lucky customer will be pulled to receive a winning cash incentive as the Christmas Season draws closer. “He qualified to win by topping up $15 or more. It started last Friday so that means that he either topped up [on] Friday, Saturday or Sunday and today he was drawn as the winner,” said Ms Perez.

She explained that other persons can qualified in the same light including all postpaid customers.

“If they are in good standing which means that they would have paid their bill in full and on time and they will also be in the drawing every day ,” she explained adding that online top-ups are included in the drawings. “If you sign up for a data plan you are also in the drawing,” she said.
