Lettsome House 3 peat as ESHS Inter House Track & Field Champs!

- Robinson, Bradshaw & Gumbs share Overall Boys title, while Hayde takes Overall Girls title with 50 point haul

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – After a long day of exciting competition Lettsome House completed a three peat by lifting the 45th Annual Elmore Stoutt High School Inter House Track and Field Championship, which concluded on Friday March 18, 2016 on the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds.

Lettsome House secured 832 points to comfortably win the two-day event ahead of Flemming House, who totaled 709 points to be just ahead of Carlisle House’s 706. O’Neal House finished 4th with 645 points.

Xiamora Malone picked up 48 points to be named the Girls Under 13 Champion, whilst Antwon Robinson garnered 40 to be the Boys Champ.

In the Under 15’s, Zara Brown scored a total of 44 points to be Champion and both Tyrique Bradshaw and J’Quan Bodkin scored 38 points to be joint Boys Champions.

The Under 17 Girls Champ was Arianna Hayde with 50 points and the Boy’s honour went to Jelani Norman with 38 points.

The Under 20 Girls Champ was Sh’Kaida Lavacia with 48 points and Akeem Bradshaw grabbed a share of the Boys title with Adriano Gumbs, with 40 points each.

Overall there was a three way tie for the title with Robinson, Bradshaw and Gumbs all scoring 40 points. Hayde was the outright winner with her 50 point haul.

Elsewhere, and at the High School Champs in Jamaica, Nelda Huggins finished third in the Class 1 Girls 100m with a time of 11.68 seconds.

    Big Up to the entire house 1 crew, you all were awesome. They said the 1st time was by chance, the 2nd time was jus a miss but hey 3 times sure quite the noise...lol 2017 we ready again!!! House 3 big up yourself and to all the kids that participated overall a job well done.
