ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Domestic Summer League Champions, Legs were crowned Champions of Champions on Saturday September 21, 2013 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex following a 85-72 defeat of St Thomas.

The Tournament, a brain child of President of the BVI Basketball Federation Byron Hodge and his Committee, featured teams from St Kitts, St Croix and also St Thomas all going head to head to see who could rightfully be crowned as Inter-Island Champions.

To reach the final, the Legs had seen off a spirited challenge from St Croix Kings before going on to a 100 – 73 rout, thanks largely to Kelvin Samuel with 20 points and Ray Victor with 19. Jasin Edwin added a double of 11 points and 10 rebounds, whilst Khalid Gerrard scored 13 points and Kennedy Bass 11 with 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 5 assists.

The Kings were led by 19 points from C. Williams, 16 from J. Nathaniel and 14 from W. Williams.
