EAST END, Tortola, VI - Author and Virgin Islander (VI) Verna Penn Moll today, July 12, 2020, launched a new book entitled 'Lead me to the rock' which is a Testimony of God's deliverance from illness and emotional fears and doubts.

"The book takes us on an intimate journey of the author’s deliverance from emotional doubts, fears and illness, even from the jaws of death in 2018. The narrative is a testimony of how God delivered Penn Moll, through the promptings, direction and teaching of the Holy Spirit; through reading the Holy Scriptures, and through the prayers of family, the Church and friends," a release on the publication noted.

Mrs Penn Moll, a bibliographer, also writes on environmental and cultural/historical issues has other published works including Virgin Islands Historical Documents (Ed) 1985; Virgin Islands (World Bibliographical Series), 1991; Legacy 1997 and Land Acquisition by Virgin Islanders of African Descent from 1834 to 2000.

Her latest book was launched today, during the worship service conducted by the Reverend Joyce Rohan, at the East End Methodist Church.

Mrs Penn Moll said she hopes that readers will be encouraged to let go of difficulties and struggles while offering them up to God to take full control of whatever challenges they may be facing or experiencing and at the same time surrendering their lives to the Lord.

The book was published by the Light Switch Press and is available online at www.lightswithpress.com/authors with profits from the book benefitting the Alzheimers Society, the Diabetes Society and the Cancer Society.
