ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The final of the BVICA Corporate Cricket League between RTW and Delta Petroleum is scheduled for Thursday November 26, 2015 from 6pm at the Old Recreation Ground in Long Bush.

In addition to the grand finale and to celebrate the involvement of the significant number of women in the tournament, there will be an all female game to begin the night’s activities.

The tournament has had 20 female participants, which greatly exceeded expectations.

Ms Shaniqua Fahie from team Nagico/Terminix and Ms Rita Hawkins from Team Harneys have been named as the two team captains and they will pick names out of a hat to comprise their teams on championship day, before battling it out for a special prize provided by Sole Day Spa in Road Town.

The Corporate Cricket League final will follow the all women’s game.

The final will see Delta Petroleum battling RTW for the inaugural BVICA Corporate Cricket League trophy.

In addition, both teams will be representing some very noble causes on the night. Team Delta will be playing for the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre and the BVI Red Cross.

Team RTW will be playing for the Elmore Stoutt High School lunch programme.

The BVICA will donate $2000 to the winners’ causes and $1000 to the runners up causes. The winners will also receive a day of water sports activity provided by Blue Rush Water Sports in Leverick Bay.
