Kleon ‘BigKle’ Penn makes Timberwolves debut
Penn entered the game in the 4th quarter with the Timberwolves already staring a defeat in the pre-season friendly game and had little opportunity to change the result, a 114-105 defeat, but had a solid game at Centre, alongside the likes of Kevin Garnett, Nick Wiggins, Tayshaun Prince and Andrew Wiggins.
With Penn on the court, the Timberwolves saw a plus four point swing, but it was too little too late.
E'Twaun Moore scored 18 points to lead the Chicago Bulls.
The big attraction, however, was Canada native and reigning NBA rookie of the year Andrew Wiggins, who had nine points in 24 minutes for the Timberwolves.
The teams crossed the border as part of this year's Canada Series. Five NBA teams are playing four exhibition games in cities that don't have teams -- Vancouver, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Montreal.
The Minnesota Timberwolves had announced on Friday September 18, 2015 that it had signed [British] Virgin Islands center Kleon 'BigKle' Penn and guard Nick Wiggins for the present NBA season.
Penn, 29, most recently played in 45 games with Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rico, averaging 4.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 18.4 minutes per game. The 6’11 pivot recently competed in the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Championships and was noticed by the interim Timberwolves head coach Sam Mitchell, who was coaching the USVI in the same competition.
Penn finished his college career at McNeese State in 2009.
The big man previously said he always wanted to have the opportunity to play in the NBA and would utilise the opportunity if called.

You sound like that jealous S***3 who amounted to nothing internationally and is total disappointment locally cause he can't get his head out his @$$.
Age doesn't matter if he can help them be a contender right now. Kevin Garnett in same boat but he a star but he needs to impact the game.
Kleon like I told you the other night to make NBA you either have to be really Great at one thing or really Good at two things. You're a good rebounder and shotblocker . You will be a value to an NBA team even if its not Timberwolves trust me other GMs are noticing you. Keep pushing.
Don't get discouraged Kleon. everyone has a particular role in each game, and as coach mike encouraged, keep pushing, stay focused and you can only improve on your skills.
Side note: You need to get back down here basketball is really falling off with those currently trying to do training, it's no where close to what you and 88 did and our youngns aint getting any better.
Stop the negativity. We know he's really not NBA ready yet, but who is? 70% of NBA players aren't NBA ready when they get there. He could be a modern day Tree Rollins if given the opportunity and if he can keep up with the pace. Let the seed be planted, watered and grown. Sam Mitchell & Flip Saunders will coach him up.
