ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - On July 14th, 2013, 18 year old Miss Kimberly Herbert was crowned with the official title of Miss Earth British Virgin Islands; and now she has departed the country to continue on her journey as the formal Environmental Ambassador of British Virgin Islands.

Her journey continues on today 15th of November where she left Tortola, BVI in route to St. Thomas, USVI then for Manila, Philippines. Upon arriving in the Philippines, Miss Herbert will participate in a number of preliminary competitions before the date of the actual pageant, which includes a swimsuit and a costume competition, in lieu of the actual Miss Earth International theme “International Year of Water Cooperation”. The Pageant will take place on 7th December, 2013.

In light of the recent devastation that occurred in the Philippines Miss Earth BVI and committee extend our deepest sympathy to all of those who were affected and hope that we would be able to help out were we can during our participation of this pageant.

We here at the Miss Earth BVI Committee are asking the community to rally around Miss Herbert as the Miss Earth 2013 process has officially begun! You can vote for Miss Herbert for Miss Photogenic and Miss Eco Video by liking the Miss Earth Facebook page first then you can vote away. If you don’t like the Facebook page the vote will not be counted https://www.facebook.com/MissEarthPageant Miss Photogenic/ Miss Eco Video http://www.missearth.tv/...
