ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - This news site has learnt that from Tuesday September 30, 2014, Kedrick E. Malone will no longer be the Director of the BVI London Office and is to be replaced by Deputy Director Benito Wheatley who is to assume the role of acting Director.

This is according to this news site’s sources within the National Democratic Party (NDP) Government.

Up to post time neither Malone nor Wheatley could be reached for a comment by this news site.

Reached for a comment on this reported development, acting Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Premier Broderick Penn said that he had no comment to make on the issue.

When this news site called for a comment from Premier Dr the Honourable D. Orlando Smith we were told that he was unavailable and we were asked to leave a number by which our reporter could be reached.

Up to post time we did not receive a call from the Premier.

According to our sources, Malone said in a correspondence that he was grateful to both Premier Smith and former Premier Honourable Ralph T. O’Neal OBE (R9) for the opportunity to serve as Director of the BVI London Office. Malone is said to have called the time he served as Director both rewarding and challenging.

Kedrick, wishing you the best moving forward. Not certain why anyone thinks an intelligent brother like yourself is suppose to sit up at the London office for the rest of your life, move out move up that is how corporate UK/US does it. Maybe he is ready to open his own company and pay himself a hell of a lot more then any Gov't can ever do. In addition, he can do some consulting. Write your own check to yourself!!!

Benito is a smart young guy ready to take on the roll congrats to that brother... put your time in and move on... leave the door cracked open for another up and coming bright BVI Lander

More fire for him for real. The NDP has done bad to a lot of people and forgot that these people have family also. Don't know how they can use a family logo when they are destroying families.

We will Out them and In VIP for the 2015-2016 General Election.

It's time to let someone else handle the international affairs of bvi house nobody biting the dust under NDP. Everyone has to be given an opportunity. Like dawn who served and moved on he also served and now moving on and likewise Benito when he has made his contribution. So really don't see the need for fussing.
