Jeep Wrangler flips at Wickham's Cay II

WICKHAM'S CAY II, Tortola, VI- A driver of a Jeep Wranger rental escaped injuries after the vehicle ended up on its side in the vicinity of the traffic lights at Wickham's Cay II this evening, March 22, 2013.

According to reports, the female driver was heaing West on the dual carriageway on James Walter Francis Drive when she allegedly lost control of the vehicle and ended up on the side of the road at French Deli.

The vehicle reportedly hit the side of the pavement causing the vehicle to flip on its right side.

The incident reportedly occurred around 9:30 P.M.

According to persons on the scene, the driver appeared just a bit shaken but indicated she did not need to go to hospital. 

Police are on the scene conducting investigations. The vehicle, which seemed to have sustained a broken right side mirror, broken right side window, a punctured tire and a damaged left axle, is about to be taken away on a wrecker.
