ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After being appointed to the position of Marketing and Public Relations Executive of Digicel BVI approximately one year and four months ago, Ms Jasmine A. Perez is moving on to pay more attention to her own business entity.

Her last day with the company was yesterday Monday January 12, 2015. This was confirmed by Ms Perez when contacted as she sought to clear the air that her leaving has absolutely nothing to do with any fallout with the company.

"I am a young ambitious, aspiring entrepreneur in my country. I own the company Bell Entertainment and today it is at a stage where it is beginning to thrive and so it requires a lot more of my time, so I made the conscience decision to go into it one hundred percent,” said Ms Perez.

She said she is and has forever been committed to Digicel and will remain a spokesperson for the company. "You'll continue to hear me on the radio ‎and other media representing Digicel. I am still officially with the company but I need the time to spend on expanding and developing Bell Entertainment," she said.

"I will forever be thankful to Digicel because they have allowed me to grow as a person as they grow as a business....it takes a crew to run a ship, it's not about any one individual so for Digicel you must be like a crew, like a family and at the end of the day everyone sees growth and development."

She went on to state, "I would really like to thank Digicel. They are very supportive, they know that I am venturing off to do my own thing and they are actually happy to see me progress doing my own thing. Many times persons would feel like the company they work for does not support them in doing other things but I can say without contradiction that's not the situation with Digicel. They are very supportive of me."

Bell Entertainment is a company that provides temporary employment for persons in promotional and other events.

It is not yet clear who will replace Perez as the Marketing and Public Relations Executive at Digicel BVI.

Good luck, nothing beats a failure but a try, anyone can get a job it takes a special person to step out on faith and work hard to make your own dreams come true. Does not matter what people think, it matters what you and the people that support you think. Again good luck and the positive people wish you the best moving forward. If you fail you will be amongst giants like Microsoft, Apple, Sony but never give up!!!

I love to see young people striving to do their own and not depend on someone else for a job. Good job Jasmine only those that love to depend on others are going to hate. Let the haters hate

How you people get so? Honestly speaking, you have no clue what is going on in her work field. So why so quick to jump to conclusions? Don't you all know how stupid it is to ASSume? Good luck Jasmine on your new ventures. Meh love yah !
