CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - When the USVI band Jammerz made the trip to Virgin Gorda, Virgin Islands (VI) to provide their usual heated musical party entertainment without one of their close members Jama A. Rhymer aka 'Hubba Bubba', they had no idea that they would be waking up this morning February 22, 2015 to news of his death.

Several friends of Rhymer’s out of St. Thomas USVI told this news site that the energetic man died tragically in an automobile accident at about 5:00 am today in St Thomas.

"This so unfortunate, so unfortunate, words can't come right now,” said one of his Facebook friends Trevon T. Otto. Several other friends posted messages of condolences on Rhymer's Facebook page.

Rhymer was said to have been a very popular member of the band and a friend of many in the VI.

According to his friends he did not make the trip to the VI yesterday as he had to report for work this morning.

This news site has also confirmed that the band played at Mine Shaft, VG last night for VI's popular Dee Jay Taz's birthright party.

Stop the god nonsense. There is no credible reason why a loving god would take a young life like that. You should live everyday as if its going to be your last.

Very Nice Classmate...I had known Jama for years. He was always a good person. He had always put people before him. May he rest in peace. I was overseas the year he died and had to hear from a fellow classmate of his death. Here it is today 2017 that I looked on a friend's page and saw a picture of Jama and celebrating his life. He was known to always smile.

Monique I am saddened by your loss. This is almost unimaginable having lost your husband suddenly only a short few years ago. We will hold you and the rest of the family up in prayers. God will see you through this.

This is really sad that these guys expressed their talent musically. Not looking for trouble but doing what they love. Very rare for young men to have these discipline in the era.

Cuz we love you!!!!!!!!!!! Our condolences goes out to the whole family in this very sad and shocking time.. Rip , the heavens needed another strong angel so that's why you were chosen. There is music in heaven and you will for sure be a part of their band. You are Gone but will never be forgotten. And to the negative comments.. STOP PLEASE!!!!No one has the place to judge unless they want to be judged. Stop with the negativity, have respect and look into your closet.

Refrain from the speculations and what ifs, everyone has there own personal relationship with god and you are not the judge. THIS MAN WAS LOVED AND IS GOING TO HEAVEN SO PLEASE POSTS YOUR COMMENTS CAUTIOUSLY WITH EMPATHY, SYMPATHY AND POSITIVITY.

I agree with the last comment from Martin/Emanuel family. People just never know what to say in times of comfort. Keep it positive.
