Iron Fist scores unanimous decision win over Iron Dog
Whilst it didn’t quite happen in round one, as local fighter Iron Fist had predicted at the weigh in, he was always ahead of the game on points, landing several hard blows to the head and body of Iron Dog, who hails from Jamaica.
The fight was nearly stopped right at the end of the eighth after Iron Dog was sent to the canvas, but he recovered to survive the last 15 seconds or so of the bout.
The result went to Iron Fist on a unanimous decision from all three Referees, 68-79, 70-77 and 72-78.
In other Bouts, Antigua's Karl Warner had a 1st round knockout of Camari Bowers, Yakita Aska won a unanimous decision over Andrew Lettsome Jr, 12-year-old Omari Lee beat Kavon Wheatley, Niquan Todman overcame Johan Marlinece, Tevon Chalwell was victorious over Romario Morgan and Cecil Williams defeated Kevin Chinnery.
