Interactive Community Meeting on Jan. 29 in Carrot Bay to Discuss NHI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The public is invited to learn more about the National Health Insurance through a series of interactive community meetings, conducted by the National Health Insurance Steering Committee in preparation for the introduction and implementation of the National Health Insurance (NHI).

The next meeting will be held in District One at the Abraham Leonard Community Centre, Carrot Bay on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M.

Main presenters during the meetings will be Chief Medical Officer in the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Dr. Irad Potter; and Deputy Director of the Social Security Board with the responsibility for the NHI, Mr Roy Barry.

The community is invited to come out and ask questions about the National Health Insurance and share suggestions for implementing and strengthening the system.
