How did this vehicle get there?

-Is this too minor for Police Traffic Cops?

LONG LOOK, Tortola, VI – Shortly before 11:00 am today September 20, 2014 this news site was alerted to a vehicular accident in the Long Look community.

Upon arrival on the scene a Meter Reading vehicle belonging to the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) was seen in what appeared to have been a freak accident.

While there no one was seriously injured or hurt to the extent of calling the ambulance commuters pondered if the Police Traffic Department should be called in for this one.

Recently the Commissioner of Police Mr David Morris had said that not all traffic accidents warranted police presence. But does this one fit the bill?

The vehicle is stuck in a position that compromises the flow of traffic on the road which is usually heavily commuted by vehicular traffic. As is, that section can only allow for the passage of two very small vehicles side by side. The average sized vehicle usually has to give way for the other to pass.

Up to press time the traffic had to be diverted through other longer routes but not before they actually arrive in the direct path of the stuck vehicle since they had no way of knowing that they should use another route.

This leaves the pondering question, is this one too minor for the Police to be called in?

It was the first time my employee actually went to the location to physicall do a meter reading so he was not all too familiar with the topography if the area. We apologize for not doing meter readings but taking the averages of your past bills and billing you for the successive kilowatt usages. This is why if you perform a physical check on your meter you will realize that sometimes we are way ahead if your actual meter reading. Sorry for the inconvenience but we will do on site readings from now on. Thanks for your cooperation.

Site reading for what! We don't even have electricity. It goes off so much I think it is just teasing us into believing
that we actually have electricity. And the water is just as bad. POOR WE!

If all accident do not require a police like the one above, how do one get a police report for insurance purposes. Think about that Mr. Police Chief.

Vehicle seems to be intact - hope no damaged under the hood. Seems minor. Electricity bills shouldn't go up because of this accident.
