Hotter than July & Guns Out victorious in latest SCBBC Easter League action

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Action continued in the Sea Cows Bay Basketball Club (SCBBC) Easter League with two games at the Sea Cows Bay Basketball Court on Sunday March 4, 2018.

Emerging victorious were Hotter than July and Guns Out in the 13-15 and 16-18 Divisions respectively.

Williams Jr stars but Panchoo tastes victory

In Game 1, Hotter than July defeated Buzzer Beaters 55-36 in the 13-15 Division, despite a heroic performance from Aaron J.A. Williams Jr of Buzzer Beaters.

Kymal T. Panchoo was again the main man behind the win, with a 22 point performance. He also had 3 rebounds and 6 steals.

Jason E. Audain Jr chipped win with 11 points, Amarlee M. Glasgow 9, Raphael E. Singh 6 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals and Donnar J. Henry 6 points, 4 rebounds and 6 steals.

The top performer for Buzzer Beaters was Williams Jr, who scored a game high 28 points, pulled a whopping 30 rebounds and made 4 blocks.

Shaquon George made 5 points and 7 rebounds.

Guns Out silence Beast Mode

The second game was in the 16-18 Division and saw Guns Out overcome Beast Mode 44-33.

Williams Jr stepped up to the higher age division to lead Guns Out to the win by scoring 10 points, grabbing 8 rebounds and making 7 blocks.

His rival in the first game but teammate on Guns Out, Panchoo, had 7 points, as did Glasgow.

Beast Mode’s top scorer was Adrian T. Taylor, who netted 13 points, pulled 7 rebounds and effected 6 steals.

Ryan W. Adams finished with 9 points, Evanson M. Cottoy 5 points, and Donnar J. Henry also 5 points.

The games were organised by veteran coach and stalwart community member Mr Milton C. McLean.

    to all both the winners and the organiser and other stakeholders. Youth. this is what you should always shoot balls not bullets from guns. Continue to shoot for the stars you may not know where this may take you one day
