ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Man of the cloth and social commentator, Mr Claude O. Skelton-Cline who is also a strong supporter of the Premier and Minister of Finance Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) led Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Government says that even though the VIP is in power, his ‘Honestly Speaking’ Radio show will still continue to probe and investigate as it did under the Dr D. Orlando Smith led National Democratic Party (NDP) government.

Mr Skelton-Cline reaffirmed the commitment to the territory and his listeners on the Tuesday, March 19, 2019, edition of ‘Honestly Speaking’ on ZBVI 780 am where he made mention that no matter what political affiliation one may have had in the past, the Territory must now move forward as a singular unit under VIP stewardship.

Shoulder to the Wheel

“All of us are being called upon to put our shoulders to the wheel and ensure that we have good success in our governance in the way forward as a singular people, as a unit… so no matter where you were on the political spectrum, the people’s decisions have been had and we now have a new government,” Mr Skelton Cline told his listening audience.

According to the man of the cloth, further, the people of the territory have a responsibility to hold the VIP government accountable beyond the elections date and also to pay attention to how they ‘steer the ship of the BVI.’

“I want to say, Honestly Speaking, this radio programme on Facebook and elsewhere… will continue, we will still ask the provocative, the hard, the difficult questions we will still probe, we will still seek to be both informational and inspirational,” he said.

Puzzle Pieces

Mr Skelton-Cline further implored that he will not cease to play his role as part of the BVI puzzle that must come together, “I will continue to keep person’s feet to the fire, from my vantage point and we encourage all of you to weigh in just the same.”

Don't forget the Social Security chairman and director. We are in here suffering, you all walking around like normal business and we voted for change. Come on man!! these CEO and PS need shaking up. They are really acting like these department are theirs. Hon. Carvin Malone need to come and have one and one with us.

I remembered when NDP went in 8 years ago they removed their PS immediately. Let go ministers take care of who took care of you first, we the people.
