ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Information reaching Virgin Islands News Online from our Team of Reporters around the Virgin Islands is that the brother of Education Minister Hon Myron V. Walwyn has been hospitalised with a fractured skull, allegedly due to a "beating" he received at a night spot in Baughers Bay a week ago.

According to reports, Loren Walwyn was picked up at the Dejavu Night Club and taken to Peebles Hospital in the early morning hours of April 26, 2015. According to this news site's reliable sources, from all reports Walwyn may have been beaten in the head by a group of caucasian men with pool sticks.

“He was on the floor fluttering….persons found him…the white guys were playing pool while he was in that state," said one source who also alleged that the victim was in a drunken state at the time of the incident.

According to information received, Walwyn remains in a very serious state in hospital with the main injury being a severely "cracked skull" which may have serious repercussions as he remains in a semi-conscious state.

Sources are alleging that Walwyn provoked the disturbance with the caucasian men and as others came to the scene the "white guys" left. However, this news site understands that the management of the night club has been cooperating with investigators and has since surrendered the recording of the incident caught on surveillance camera.

Police Information Officer Diane Drayton confirmed to Virgin Islands News Online that someone was taken to hospital with injuries reportedly sustained at a night club. She, however, could not confirm the name of the victim at the time as she said the matter was still being investigated to determine whether an assault took place.

Walwyn was on February 8, 2013 sentenced to 12 months in prison on the charge of possession of an unlicensed firearm and 4 months in prison on the charge of possession of explosives.

Mother/Son relationship is different from a Brother/Brother relationship. Brothers don't being each other into the world and are tasked with the responsibility of ensuring proper upbringing.

Besides, Irene was arrested after a gun was found in her house. Regardless of who it belongs to, its an entirely different situation.

A sad incident but highlighting his relative may just help his brother ganar some sympathy votes for the upcoming elections. It might just work
