ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Hurricane Irma, the United Kingdom’s, Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Bill, and the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) Government, are believed by many to be among the worst things to have happened to the people of the Virgin Islands (VI) in recent times.

On his weekly radio show aired on ZBVI 780 AM, on Tuesday May 29, 2018 last, Host Claude O.  Skelton-Cline, dubbed it, ‘the Trifecta:’ "the perfect storm, the plagues.”

Trifecta

The former Managing Director of the BVI Ports Authority told radio listeners, “pick your metaphor for any of them and it would fit as they all have one thing in common, (the) destruction of the property, people, and economy of the Territory.”

On his May 29, 2018, radio show, the commentator posed the ‘Trifecta’ notion to his guest, Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Dr the Honourable Kedrick D. Pickering (R7).

Dr Pickering however, dodged the opportunity to respond, instead claiming there was not enough time remaining on the radio programme.

Out of time?

“We are out of time pastor, I will need more time to answer…you will have to bring me back,” he said, shying away from the question.

This, despite Mr Skelton-Cline informing him of another four minutes of programme time left.

Dr. Pickering insisted however, it was not enough time to answer.

According to Skelton-Cline, “it is difficult to escape the reality on the ground and we are forced to wrestle with hurricane Irma, hurricane UK and the NDP, who declared themselves to be the best hope for the future, (but) has turned out to be a nightmare for people.”

Mr. Skleton-Cline—a NDP Candidate in the 2011 general elections and nephew of sitting Health and Social Development Minister, Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton (AL)—has already declared that he will not support the NDP in the upcoming general elections.

This guy pitch a high ball and think the Doc who is standinf in the wicket would stretch his bat over his head to hit it. Hey wisdom is the principle thing he use that to defend his wicket. He hit a six over Mr. Skelton head. He is a man of wisdom check him out if you need some.
