DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI - Last evening October 31, 2014 marked the Virgin Islands and the International Community’s end of breast cancer awareness month.

However, the popular Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League now a signature sporting event in the Territory did not allow the month to go unnoticed as a moment of silence and words of promotion and awareness were said during half time of round 1 of the championship games between Bayside Blazers and Knights.

The games are played at the Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duff’s Bottom on the main island of Tortola.

The moment of silence to recognize the fight against cancer was led by mother, daughter, author and Attorney at Law Ayana S. Hull with support from Honourable Julian Fraser whose name the League bears.

Ms. Hull urged all to take the disease seriously and be sure to get checked for all types of cancers. Ms. Hull who made headlines recently with her bestseller book on the local financial services sector made mention of one of her church members who went public about his battle with cancer and asked all in the energy centre to keep providing support and love to those who have been touched by this disease.

Meanwhile, Hon Julian Fraser RA, a founder of the League urged all to pay close attention to all health issues and said he was happy to endorse breast cancer awareness month. Hon Fraser said that his Basketball League continues to be more than just basketball, but encompasses all aspects of youths, the fans and the entire community.

He said the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed Basketball League was very delighted to be associated with such a worthy and timely cause and thanked everyone present for their participation in the brief moment of awareness.

The veteran Legislator and now Chairman of the Virgin Islands Party urged the community to also support all local organizations whose mission it is to help provide support to residents affected by any form of cancer.

The brief recognition of breast cancer awareness month was coordinated by Julian Willock the Chairman of the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League Committee.

Why not Ayana. She's a woman, she has breasts. That's enough. She's not doing surgery, she raising awareness.

Just asking, I believe was questioning the real motives of the woman who seems to want to be of relevance no matter the election outcome.

Ayana cares less about election than you. She is alright no matter what as she trusts God not man.

I still looking for the breasts you talking about. I'm about to make a TT attack but I may have to ask the pastor to pray for me first because I can't find the TT dem.

Anyway good going on the awareness effort. Probably an implant with basketball size TT may do the trick. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Not sure about the men, but Ayana did explain that she wore pink earlier that day but was only asked to fill in for someone (who could not make it at the last minute) to give the moment of silence and so apologised for not wearing pink on the occasion.
