Hon Fraser League games postponed today, August 20

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Information just in is that play in the 5th annual Hon Julian Fraser/Save the Seed Basketball League scheduled for today Sunday August 20, 2017, has been postponed.

A triple header was scheduled for this evening, with Jr Bayside Blazers against High Speed (Junior Division), Young Empire vs DA 3RD and Bayside Blazers against Knights.

“Please note that due to the weather All Games scheduled for the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League for today, Sunday August 20, 2017 has been cancelled,” a press release from the League Committee stated.

The postponement was also further confirmed by Chairperson Kharid T. Fraser.

“Yes, they are postponed and will be played at a later date,” Mrs Fraser told this news site.

Games will continue on Friday August 25, 2017 according to the schedule.

The 5th Annual Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed League opened last evening, August 19, 2017.

This year’s champions will receive gold rings.

    well I live Bell View and there was no rain once it stoped at 4:00 but with these weather reports they are never accurate
