It was just less than 48 hours, that Hon Christian resigned with immediate effect from the NDP, where he was a founder and served as its Treasurer and today told a local online news, that he is with Hon Ronnie W. Skleton's (AL) new party.

We will bring more details as it unfolds.

Was wondering why the Premier took so long in firing him. It is laughable that Christian resigned as Treasurer for the party and also resigned from the party, but in the same breath wants to hold onto his junior minister port folio. That makes absolutely no sense. Christian realised that Ronnie hasn't breakaway officicially from the NDP because once he do so then he would hold no ministry and out the door he would have gone likewise. This now makes we wonder if the people of the VI will support a breakaway party because there are difference of opinions in the present party? Birds of a feather flocked together. I want to hear what They will tell the people why we should vote for them? They can't say because the other party is good and lacks transparency because they were in it for 7 plus years and have seen the sore festered until the limb needs amputation. They can't convince us that they are now the "God sent" when they sat down for years and did nothing. They can't convince us to trust them because they have no lost all credibility. It is indeed a sad day in the VI "politricks".

Christian LACKS basic common sense. How could you resign from your party and no longer a member with them and still wants to be Junior Minister under that same government sitting on their side in the HOA? Some idiot was advising you brother. You take forever to get in the HOA and now bowing out like a bum. I could recall Myron begging the people to give you a chance NOW you turn your back on him like a fool. STOP FOLLOWING the masses YOU A'INT EVEN BORN HERE!!!! Myron was!!!! You aint see RONNIE hasn't resigned as yet? BUT he should be FIRED next cause you already confirmed that he DOES have a party - Cabinet Minister, behind the scenes against his own colleagues......ALL OF YOU NEED GOING COX HEATH. We will send a LOUD message come election day.

@ Sense Alone; Myron and Archie as far as status is concerned are in the same boat. None of Myron's parents are from here as is Archie's.

Lots of people begged for votes for all of the NDP candidates Myron included and that is a fact! Myron has destroyed the NDP for his own power hungry gain. Remember the constant talk in the House of Assembly about top vote getter; then the so-called fixed poll to say who was best to lead the country under NDP - these were all gimmicks of Myron for power. He pretended to Orlando and his family that he had his back, but truth be told, he was the one who wanted him gone a long time ago!

Why are you guys so bent on painting Myron the way the Skeltons, Clines and Turnbulls are? Like this entire hugwash you typed doesn’t make sense!!!!

@sense alone.. you are wrong about Archie's birth... He was born here just like me, but that has nothing to do with the issue at hand. As a matter if fact neither He nor Myron are responsible for wherever they were born. Chose your battles wisely. Myron should have been fired also but Time will tell.

Archie born right here. Him and Myron in the same exact situation, born in the BVI to non-BVI parents

So it got an NDP government? Who in it? Premier should start by firing heself cause he ain't in NDP either. Pickering, Skelton, Turnbull and the likes none of them in NDP.. dissolve the blasted government and stop the charade. How I see it, none ago fit to run the BVI. All ago for yourself and God for us all

what a country what a people: i listened keenly as the deputy stood up in the house of assembly and expressed his serious concerns when it surfaced that the speaker of the house could be running for political office: now it wildly rumoured the deputy have aligned with another faction within his own ruling party and that is not seen as conflict of interest...you tell me !!!!

Some thing is deathly wrong if under the new chairmanship division amongst party and country is so rampid. Does this new npd chairman lack the intuitive to unite people? What really does this speak about him if he was to actually run this country. Calamity preceeds him and it doesn’t speak well for what the country may end up being like under tyranny.

just a point of information: I listened to the speech during the sitting of house of assembly yesterday by “former junior minister”: this man is advocating for sensorship of media establishments in our country, as a matter of fact this former small minister have issues with the people of this territory blogging their personally opinion while on social media(hear story)
