Homework/Study Prog. for secondary school level being considered- Hon Fahie
In a comment to Virgin Islands News Online, Honourable Fahie said that the homework programme over the years have helped many students to improve their grades and behaviour at their respective primary schools.
“Parents continue to be grateful for the positive impact the programme continues to have on their children especially towards their academics. So much so that there is a growing cry for a secondary school level of the homework/study programme. For this we will start to explore and raise funds for because our future is in our youth so any investment in our youth is worthwhile,” said Honourable Fahie.
The First District Representative has often touted the success of the programme.
"Since I last reported to you, we have had more success in our homework and study programme for our First District students at the primary level. We are pleased to note that grades have improved and that the overall performance in school for students have also improved. Let us continue to encourage and support our youths," Hon Fahie had told his First District constituents on January 24, 2015.
