Hodge sinks 30 points as Splash Brothers overcome Da Third

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – As the Honourable Julian Fraser/Save the Seed Basketball League continued at the Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duff’s Bottom, Tortola on Friday September 1, 2017 both Splash Brothers and the Knights recorded wins in the Senior Division.

The Splash Brothers beat Da 3rd, 106-92, led by Demoi M. Hodge who finished with 40 points, including 7 three pointers, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Ashfield V. Frett added 18 points, 6 rebounds, Steve E. Parillon had a double of 10 points, 11 rebounds and there were 10 points from Shakoy George.

Da 3rd’s top scorer was Dillon Etienne who notched 27 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists. Rushaun A. Johnson contributed 22 points, 11 rebounds, Phillip E. Glasgow 19 points, 12 rebounds, 6 steals and Dekembe Parsons recorded 7 rebounds, 9 steals and 8 assists.

Knights top Momentum

The Knights then beat Momentum 92-88, with Jevon K. Serrant netting 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, Nicols C. Charles scoring 23 points, Louie A. Poblete 13 and Lyle W. Duggins 11 points and 8 rebounds.

Momentum’s top scorer was Lyndon Chiverton with 23 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists, whilst Shaquille T. Fonseca scored 17 points with 8 rebounds, Jovaughn Cameron 16 points with 8 assists, Kitwana Rhymer 12 points, 19 rebounds and Zaniel Joseph 12 points.
