HoA convenes today, July 31, 2019

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Less than a week after the House of Assembly (HoA) was adjourned sine die, legislators in the Virgin Islands will return to parliament today, July 31, 2019 for the Sixth Sitting of the First Session of the Fourth House of Assembly.

The HoA last convened July 25, 2019 when the long awaited Consumer Protection bill had its second reading and was then referred to a Select Committee of the HoA.

No Order Paper was released to the media ahead of today’s Sitting.

The HoA proceedings will be carried live on CBN Radio 90.9 FM, CBN-Television Channel 101 on Flow TV and can also be followed online at www.cbnvirginislands.com.

      @ up town: the last sitting some of we listened keenly as pastor mark took hours talking about transparency within government setting: while listening some of us almost Believe this man until someone at the table began the pier park conversation...how in good faith can mark speak in public about good governance and transparency: for 8 long years he and his political affiliate circumnavigate all the rules of our territory: no bid contracts: millions and millions unaccounted for: where are the aeroplanes(leave that !!!!)....8 mil sewage project money; their business associates given consultancy no bid contract....
