ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Dandra T. Vanterpool, 22, of Horse Path, an employee of the Sterling Group BVI Ltd as well as a Business Administration student of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC), is the winner of the SOL Free Fuel for a Year promotion.

“I am excited,” Vanterpool told Virgin Islands News Online.

He was pronounced the winner on Friday October 14, 2016 at Myett’s Chill Zone on Tortola Pier Park.

Fuel money will go towards savings

Working a full-time job and attending school, Vanterpool explained that he spends at least $40 on fuel for a week.

“So this will definitely come in handy. The most I put in is about a $50 and that puts it just about a half tank, so it drinks a lot of gas,” Vanterpool said of his vehicle.

“So at the end of the year I expect to have good savings, that’s the plan,” a delighted Vanterpool, who has been driving since December 2015, commented.

The promotion was launched on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Captain Mulligan’s, Nanny Cay and it ran until October 9, 2016.

To be eligible participants had to spend $20 at any Sol Service Stations to receive a ‘Web Card. Eligible customers were then required to log on to www.solpetroleum.com/gofurtherbvi and fill out the necessary information, including the code found on the Web Card.
