High speed police chase ends in WE
The circumstances surrounding chase have not yet been confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) but, according to our usually reliable sources, ranks were chasing a black wrecker driven by a man whose name was shared with this news site but cannot be released since it is not clear if any charge has been laid against him.
The police chase saw them trying to lock in the individual during the chase as one took the flat road and the other through Slaney Hill. It's this news site’s understanding that the individual has been under police radar for some time now.
Unconfirmed reports are that the individual’s home was searched prior to the high speed chase.
It is alleged that the man was subsequently taken to the Road Town Police Station.
Efforts to get a comment from Police Information Officer, Diane Drayton were not successful.
This news site will bring further information as it becomes available.
