High speed police chase ends in WE

WEST END, Tortola, VI - All eyes and attention were turned to what appeared to have been a high speed police chase that ended in West End shortly after 10:00am today, June 25, 2015.

The circumstances surrounding chase have not yet been confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) but, according to our usually reliable sources, ranks were chasing a black wrecker driven by a man whose name was shared with this news site but cannot be released since it is not clear if any charge has been laid against him.

The police chase saw them trying to lock in the individual during the chase ‎as one took the flat road and the other through Slaney Hill. It's this news site’s understanding that the individual has been under police radar for some time now.

Unconfirmed reports are that the individual’s home was searched prior to the high speed chase.

It is alleged that the man was subsequently taken to the Road Town Police Station.

Efforts to get a comment from Police Information Officer, Diane Drayton were not successful.

This news site will bring further information as it becomes available.

        You Fool the Suzuki is faster. But they know what they were doing. Do u see the kind the roads here and there were so much other vehicles on the road at the time.

    Babylon had their hands full today. Woman fainting in front police station, high speed chase, man caught with illegal stuff in sea cows bay, ganja plants uprooted and two ganja farmers arrested. SMFH
