Condolences and Corrections for Parliament

It does not seem so long ago when Death was a stranger to us but Today, Death in all forms, is becoming more common than the Cold with funerals spilling over the weekends and into work days.

Death will always be too final & tragic for involved Families & Friends so I join in expressing deep condolence to them as well as to the Colleagues & Constituents of Hon. Delores Christopher.

Some are quick to remind us that Death is inevitable but we should remind ourselves that it is better postponed than welcomed… These times are already difficult and social disruptions become primers for National destruction… Today’s Challenges require more than a firm hand and brutal force – They require clear heads with vision, foresight and the will & ability to do what is right.

Even the Legislators’ Car Park can use some correcting – Not only has it soiled the Town’s image with its resemblance to Prison Bars being positioned so close to Freedom Village but it diminishes Sidewalk and creates Blind Corners… The effect is to present a pressing danger that handicaps the very Politicians leaving the Car Park and poses an increased risk to Pedestrians & other Drivers.

Meeting Positive Efforts with Appreciation

While it may be difficult to undo all that was done, a first step at correction would be to widen the involved Entrance and Exit Roads and install Road Signs cautioning Drivers to Slow Down at this Intersection… Another Political Road for attention is the junction by the Parliament/Court House Building – I’m no fan of Speed Bumps but they may help control the 3-directional traffic in that area.

Persons have been telling me of what appears to be noticeable improvements at Labour and Immigration in dealing with the Work Permit Process… If true, I would be pleased for I have fought long & hard for this and while the War is far from over, I am prepared to show appreciation by introducing a Process that allows Immigration & Labour Officers to be more functionally available.

In this Initiative, those On-duty Officers with appointments for B&F Medical Services can be processed and served in a timely manner so as to get them back to their Offices and not have to keep the Public or Permit Applicants waiting longer than necessary… This courtesy may be extended to other Uniformed Crisis Workers when & where it is deemed to be in the Public’s best interest.

Enlightening the World against Suppression

We live in a World of Social Media & Soundbites where what we think we see & hear are realities when they are actually fantasies… None of this is accidental - Their mission remains to fool & rule so the less truth we know the stronger their lies become… They hope we will never become aware of this interwoven thread until the cloak of darkness is completed and well-placed over our heads.

Solutions would be in plain view and yet we would be unable to decipher them, once these tricksters master the ability to impose a confusion where major things can appear to be nothing while minor things can be sold to us as meaning everything… This is not new - It remains based on the control & access to information and was practised from slavery and still being practised Today.

If you experienced the YouTube outage last week then you know what it feels like when Social Media leaves you in the dark… Just imagine this happening to all our sources of information and it is clear that their mission would be accomplished and we would be back in mental slavery… Here, in the BVI, we still uphold Colonial Holidays that our struggling Country would be better off without.

Such gestures make no meaningful National contribution… Instead, they provide subliminal ways of conditioning our Children to an expectation of being paid for work not done… Such approaches please the lazy and unambitious so they may never agree that, every National Holiday should be linked to the provision of National Benefits in the greater interest of our People and Territory.

The Effects of Changing Horses in Midstream

Nonetheless, the things I say are not for acceptance without question but for you to research, reason and reconsider before making hasty decisions that decide the rest of your lives… We know Elections come with local & international consequences but we have the responsibility of not replacing mistakes with mistakes - This may reach a conclusion but never a solution.

Whereas the vision of our own leaders may be clouded emotionally, we have the opportunity to look at Prime Minister May and President Trump we may see the price of mistakes… It is clear that no matter how unpopular they are, they have the power to affect & influence every aspect of our lives and it becomes progressively harder to get them out than it was to put them in.

The irony increases when Political Promises are totally reversed during Political Practice – We see Britain facing a BREXIT Crisis where the closer the end the more distant the solution… New numbers willing to march against BREXIT is up from approx. 100,000 to 700,000 and Prime Minister May who is charged with fighting to leave, is the same one who voted to stay.

Donald Trump pledged to end lawlessness & corruption, drain the swamp and lock up Political Criminals; instead, we see most of his family and Cabinet charged with corruption, the swamp overflowing and many of his Top Aides facing Prison… This should warn us that when political horses change strides or jockeys in mid-race it is never in the People’s best interest.

Snap Elections & Decisions only make Persons suffer more… A common thread in such Leadership is a desire to turn back time to what they regard as ‘their good old days’… This usually means the victimization of Africans & Minorities via Windrush and Slavery or a point where Masters can demand unfair benefits – like, having their cake in hand long after eating it.

These are Old Tactics in New Times

This re-enslavement process has started and you may notice such racist acts when Whites block Blacks out of their own luxury apartments or when they call Cops on Blacks babysitting White Children or when Blacks & Minorities are hindered from electing their preferred Leaders – These facts are real but we are conditioned to accept that which is designed to regress us.

Oppressors have always known that the only way to keep Blacks in slavery was to block their ability to read & write… They knew that once Slaves could read News Papers with recent happening they would become mentally free and later demand their physical freedom… Today we can read & write so the only way to deny us current knowledge is by destroying the Press & blocking the Vote.

Even Russia knows this, so, in efforts to use Trump to destroy America, Russia is stereotyping Slave Descendants as non-readers who have to be taught by Pictures and Drawings… There should be no surprise when leaders’ agendas become linked to methods that would hamper Education and Information… We see this when Trump calls the Press, ‘Enemies of the People’.

It is no accident when he glorifies Leaders who beat up Reporters or when he supports Saudi’s excuses for murdering & dismembering US Reporter, Khashoggi… What we should never forget is that from Slavery to now we have excelled in whatever we put our minds & bodies to do and we should allow anyone or anything to block us from being as good as we could be and should be.

There are many Battles still to be fought & won

We must be alert and not become distracted by the smoke and mirrors… Let’s not forget that one of the ways of holding back Knowledge for Blacks was simply to make Education accessible but unequal… We are already seeing Education held back in the BVI with claims of doing well in CXC’s while ignoring facts that we a year behind and actually did better in the past; locally and regionally.

We must beware of overzealous Leaders & Civil Servants with Regulations inherently detrimental to our People and only serve to effectively slow down the progress of our Territory… I have already spoken with Persons involved in pushing these bad Policies but some seem determined to hurt us through sheer wilfulness or ignorance… As usual, we must keep on trying for our Children’s sake.

There is no one going to save us- but ourselves. Everything else is only smoke in mirrors.

Don’t matter how we turn it, NDP has been a failed government and the sooner they go is better for us all. Election should be call sooner than later.
