Gunshots ring out in Baughers Bay

BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI – Reports of shots being fired in Baughers Bay are rife this morning November 14, 2015.

Reports are still sketchy, however, this news site was told by its usually trusted and reliable sources that about five shots were reportedly fired around 5:30am.

Police Public Relations Officer Diane Drayton confirmed that there were reports made but upon investigation nothing else was unearthed.

“Police responded to a report of gunshot fire but nothing was found,” said Ms Drayton.

We will bring updates when further information becomes available.

    I often heard automatic gun fire at night and the sound of idiots drag racing on the public road. Where are the night time police patrols that were promised. I called the Police station once to report gun fire and was asked if I could see where the gun man was standing. Really, just wake the officers up and send a patrol.

    Friday night about 9:45pm sounded like they were in the area of the Baughers bay school or laundry......several rang out (could've been like 10).... All i said....if any one get those....they are not alive ....sad when these dudes just fooling around like this. What really is their motive.

      Police you all need to check spores hole at night all kind of boat coming in from St. John and st Thomas with gun and food an money and going to Willy t at night no custom At all. What ndp doning with our bvi it look like all man for them self
