GoFundMe account created for J’nae & Kaidija
Last week this news site reported that the Church of God of Prophecy Community Worship Centre in Long Look is staging a benefit concert on May 7, 2017 for 9 month old J’nae Lily-Ann Nibbs who suffers from Pompe disease and 14 year old Kaidija Martin who suffers from Lupus.
At the concert there will also be donation sheets and a food sale to further help raise funds for the two children to get medical assistance..
And now, Laurecia Chalwell, Director of the Women’s in Christian Service (WICS), at the Church of God of Prophecy Community Worship Centre in Long Look, launched a GoFundMe webpage to raise funds to assist both of the children.
Kaidija Martin is currently hospitalised in Puerto Rico while J’nae Lily-Ann Nibbs is expected to travel to Puerto Rico on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
According to Ms Chalwell, “We are also aware that it can be very costly, especially for persons who are underprivileged.”
The GoFundMe page can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/jnae-kaidija-medical-expenses
According to Ms Chalwell, “Any link other than the one below is invalid, as this is a church project and not an individual project.”
Donations can also be made locally at the following sites: Nibbs Auto Sales and Parts, Beacon Book Store, Abundant Blessings Gift Shop, Bolos Department Store, ZKING Radio Station, ZCCR Radio Station and ZBVI Radio Station.
For further information, persons can contact Laurecia Chalwell at 284-442-1523, 284-499-1523 or Cheryl Small at 284-543-5952.
