ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- As the Virgin Islands Softball Association All Star weekend continued on Sunday June 18, 2017, T.C. Frett and Darear Malone smashed the ball to all parts of the E. Walwyn Brewley Field to be crowned Home Run Champs.

In the event for Men, Frett had been well down the field in the first round as Jeemy Penn, with 9 homers, and Devon Bedford with 7, made the early running.

However, in the final round Frett connected with no less than 10 to shoot into the lead with Penn and Bedford only able to hit 4 each.

The Women’s Derby was pretty much a a one-way street as Malone smashed her way to 10 homers, which was 7 more than her nierest rivals, Bria Smith and Shamora Penn.

The latter pair would then be separated by a tie breaker which Smith won 3-2 to claim second place.

Successful what? If I knew about it I would've brought my family out. Who is marketing these events? I only remember softball is on when I happen to drive pass and see the crowd and traffic in the area.
