Fraser: All projects in 3rd district have stopped! [Photoslide Included]

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – Since the National Democratic Party (NDP) Government has taken office on November 7, 2011, all projects in the 3rd district have been stopped, declared Hon. Julian Fraser RA at his 6th annual holiday and thank you party held at Ellis Thomas Downs on January 14, 2012.

“This is a warning that I have made to you before election. I am not saying anything; I am just speaking to you my constituents. But with your help and God’s help we will make it through and those projects will go on,” the district representative told a sizeable crowd that turned up for the festive event.

Hon. Fraser, who is known by many to be an aggressive politician, revealed that the district has some very ambitious projects. “The 3rd district has been on the move and it has been for the past 12 years. This district has many projects on the drawing board as we speak.”

One such project is the Nibbs Estate project that allows for 60 young people to develop sites for their new homes. The district representative pointed out that his party, the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) made it possible for young homeowners to import building materials duty free.

“…and this is a first, we should not stand in their way of developing their future, not the NDP that is in place right now or anyone else,” he added.

The Sea Cows Bay Development project is an excellent idea and a good project for the Territory 3rd district, Hon. Fraser candidly stated.

“We need to urge the Government to get the project off the ground and move the project forward. You may not like Julian Fraser but you ought to like the people of the 3rd district … I don’t do anything for myself, I do everything for the 3rd district and when I do something is the people of the district,” he further stated. “The project is the best thing the country has seen and will see for a long time.”

According to Hon. Fraser, tourists are driven around and told of things that are not always true, adding “people want to spend money in the country and if the project is developed tourists will spend money.” He also noted that the project will create job opportunities for residents.

Additionally, he thanked his constituents from the bottom of his heart for their confidence in him and the VIP.

LOL!! Look at all the two-faced crooks. OJ, take heed!! LOL! LOOOOORD MY BELLY!!!! The Government in power 2 months trying to get the entire Territory back on track. Projects have been stopped and are being evaluated for priority all over the Territory. They stopped his stupid marina and are focused on fixing the sewerage problem and trash problem. We see clean up and sewerage works, along with works on the economy going full speed ahead but he's worrying about his pet projects AND Nibbs Estate. I hope NDP publish a list of names of people who got letters for land in that area and you'll see the level of BS that was going on!! People right there for generations didn't get any because they didn't support HIM! HUSH, we in charge now!!!

Hush your a$$ real talk, everyone who is on the list for land at Nibbs Estate have either lived on the land as children or their parents, grandparents or great grandparents did. I have been waiting on piece of this land for many years. People like Azil Nibbs, Elton Matthias and many more i can list, did not voted for Fraser and he fully well knew they were scamps but he still gave them land at Nibbs Estate. This man (FRASER) is not like that. Even if he knows you are not voting for him, he will still help you. Ask Aaron.

I'm not one of your 7 kids so don't tell me hush!! I know for a fact there are people with no ties to Sea Cows Bay or Nibbs Estate that got letters for land, just because they support Fraser. Others with ties family and otherwise were NOT given any because they didn't support him! So you need to hush from talking nonsense! You all think everybody stupid and Fraser is right in everything he does. But right is right and wrong is WRONG! HE was there for 4yrs as MCW, why only weeks before elections people get a 'letter', why wasn't it done from earlier so everybody would have titles in their hands and getting on with building homes all now? You think everybody dumb and brainwashed like you? No Government or minister can give me no letter promising land. Give me a letter telling me which block and parcel is mine and how much I have to pay. Thereafter, give me my title so I can build my place. Don't come weeks before election with a promise letter!! Only DUNCES fall for such crap!

"real talk Or Jack a$$$" the problem with people like u who hates Fraser don't even need to know the issue in order to make your hateful comments. You accuse Fraser of waiting till the week before election to give out letters of promis (which by the way, is just as good as the title, because the NDP dares not mess with it), what you didn't mention is that Fraser said he had written the Ministry of Natural Resourses and Labour more than 2 years before to execute the distribution of land. You should ask Clide Lettsome why he refused to execute the request. Fraser had to actually take that project out of Natural Resources and put it in his Ministry in order to get it done. So when fools like you get up running off your mouth, you should be a shamed of being proven to be a liar. You clearly have spent so much time Platinum that when you come over here to the civilized world you don't know how to conduct yourself

"Real Talk", you insignificant creep. Give the names of these people with ties to the estate you claim did not get land, I bet it is because they did not apply. The energy you are here expending on telling lies and spreading propaganda, you shouda spend on helping these crooks you defending (your self) to get applications in to the ministry.

Finishing the hospital and completing the sewerage system in Town and East End should be top priority above all other projects.

That is not what the person is trying to say. Priority is priority, stop being so narrow minded. Why don't you try building your house with a defecit budget or better yet build your fencing walls, and pave your driveway before making sure your main building, which you need to live in, is completed. PRIORITY!

Did you mean finishing the hospital parking lot? Because that is what I see them concentrating on. You need to stop misleading people. That parking lot is a waste of money.

Do you expect NDP paid bloggers to stop tell lie and spreading their usual propaganda "crooked people"? That is how they operate so if you think they will stop misleading boss, you have a long wait…and they have taken over vino as pro VIP comments will not be posted on the NDP site Platinum!!!

You coulda help them 60 young people with their new homes before you went and pave an already paved road. Have you been on great mountain road lately??? Instead of paving a road that was already paved, juggy should have got spine enough to beg for some of that money to fix a road that tourists travel every day. PRIORITY!!!! WE NEED POLITICIANS THAT HAS A SENSE OF PRIORITY!!!
  • Current (15/01/2012, 21:19) Like (0) Dislike (0) Reply
billy b, you fool, hater. Is your idea of priority to asphalt that parking lot in front the hoasital? Opps, I ment concrete that parkinglot in front the hospital? Or is it concrete it after I decided to asphalt it, then change my mind? I am confused, I give up. What ever. Point I am trying to make is that you NDP are hyprocretes. If that was Fraser doing that parking lot you all would have been all over him. Bunch of hyprocrites.
