Four more firearms uncovered in another home search

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Only days after uncovering a firearm and several rounds of ammunition, Police, in another home search, have uncovered four more firearms and large quantity of ammunition.

Officers of the Criminal Investigations Unit made the discovery yesterday afternoon after a search warrant was carried out on a home in Palestina Estate.

Hidden deep in an enclosed area of the home were two rifles - one being 22 caliber and the other 30-30, a shotgun and .32 caliber handgun as well as a total of 300 rounds of ammunition for various firearms.

No one has been arrested in relation to this find, however Police are continuing their investigations.

    That ammo was going to do some serious damage. Someone gave the cops a very good tip.

    Thank goodness they did, this kind of ammunition was there to do so real harm to someone. So glad the police found it first. Too many gunmen are robbing people and hurting them.
